El castillo de Lekunberri: hipótesis sobre su posible ubicación [Lekunberri castle: hypothesis about its possible location]
Abstract
In recent times, efforts have been made to recover the historical heritage of many populations in view of its importance as a reference of identity at the local level. With this work, what is intended is to elucidate through the documentation preserved in the Royal and General Archive of Navarre the exact location of what was once a strong point of the town of Lekunberri. A castle that must have been located on land called today «Sasitas», from what can be deduced from the documents, awaiting what is concluded through future archaeological excavations.
