Abstract

The object of this article is to analyze the conditions of life and the characteristics of the families and the households of the renters peasants in 1824-1894 in two rural neighborhoods of a municipality of the northwest of Navarra. Cadasters, notarial documentation and ten serial nominal censuses are used in this analysis.
