Un impresor “audaz” y “perjudicial” en Pamplona en el siglo XVIII: Miguel Antonio Domech (ca. 1716-1786)
Abstract
The suggestive biography of Miguel Antonio Domech offers a new panoramic of the book market in the middle of the 18th century in Navarre. It shows about the organization and production of an active printer’s, and specially, about fraudulent best-sellers. It also needs to the mentioned the complicated edition of the Anales of Moret wich was demanded by the Diputation of Navarre and that was finally forbidden and destroyed.
His capacity and courage finally led him to economic and social success, apart from his business. When his situation becomes priviledged, he will close down his printing and bookshop.
