Abstract

The main object of this research is a literary text composed in the 15th century by doctor Pedro de Sada. The interest of that work lies on its nostalgic and even “patriotic” purpose. This elegy in honour of Navarre could be written after the death of Prince Charles of Viana in 1461, by one of his closest servants. The life of the author, an academic formed abroad and in relation with some well-known humanists, put him between the most selected intellectuals in Medieval Navarre.
