Emblemática y arte efímero en el primer tercio del siglo XIX en Navarra: entre la pervivencia, la renovación y la decadencia

Abstract

The study of the mains events relationed with the monarchy, by means of visits or royal exequies, allows us to examine throughly the behaviour models in force in Navarre during the first third of the 19th century, in the field of the ephemeral art as well as in the one of the symbolical culture. While in the ephemeral architecture retarded typologies cohabit with others more in agreement with the postulates of the Neoclassicism, the emblematic language suffers a clear decadence that will bring it to its final disappearance.
