Abstract
Vicente Aoiz de Zuza, a learned man from Pamplona, carried out a significant work of heraldic and genealogical research over the last years of the XVIII century. The result of his endeavours was a series of hand-written books containing an interesting store of information concerning Pamplona’s nobility, Navarre’s palaces, noble titles in the Kingdom and other similar material. In addition, and as graphical complement, to his work (which remained unpublished), he also produced two hand-written and one printed book of coats of arms, cataloguing a large number of examples.
