Trayectoria política del doctor San Martín y Satrústegui
Abstract
The personage of Alejandro San Martín y Satrústegui interests vividly since in addition to being Navarrese (been born in Larráinzar, valley of Ulzama, in 1847), and to be an eminent surgeon in his time (University professor of surgical Pathology of the Central University), he was Minister of Education and Fine Arts in 1906. The ministerial portfolio obtained it after declining the offer that to him the liberal leader Segismundo Moret of the same to Santiago Ramón y Cajal, which proposed in his place to San Martín.
