Abstract

In 1997, the proyect of the Archaeological Inventory of Navarre, discovered the archaeological site of Naveo. Ten years later, work on the Canal de Navarra has exposed many archaeological remains which show evidence of celtiberian origin. Celtiberian followed the roman and medieval, the latter attached to the hermitage of San Esteban to the second carlist war (1872-1876). The site could be completed with the near bridge of Palenque, whose roads and architecture have the appearance of roman origin.
