Abstract

Riots and public disorders were a habitual practice during the Modern Age in the Kingdom of Navarre. In spite of the enormous variety of argument that has been located until now, it thought that in our territory there was indications of disturbances as a result of the food scarcity or the increase of the prices. Nevertheless, the present communication comes to yes show how at the end of the Old Regime that existed in certain localities of Navarre episodes of fury and popular protests that centered their demands and exigencies before the municipal authorities.
