Abstract

This work is a study on the situation of the public primary education of girls in Navarra from 1781 until 1835. For this purpose, I use the documentary source of the AACF, ADP and AGN, with the aim of analysing the problems and necessities of the schoolteachers and its evolution, from the beginnings up to first examinated schoolteachers in 1832.
