Abstract
The Spanish conquest of Navarre in 1512 was accompanied by a series of political, economic, demographic, social and cultural changes which together drove to a phenomenon of recovery in the field of religious, civil and healthcare architecture. To the works of the fortress of Pamplona we can add the building of exceptional palaces, sometimes with humanist programs carved in their facades, hospitals promoted by generous patrons according to a new culture of charity, the first buildings of town halls, and numerous examples of religious architecture, parish churches, convents and monasteries, as the Dominicans and Franciscans in Pamplona of which this article provides unpublished news.
