Análisis del impacto de los encuentros de Pamplona (1972) [Impact on mass media of the «Pamplona Encounters (1972)»]
Abstract
The Pamplona Encounters were a multidisciplinary art festival held in the summer of 1972 in the northern Spanish city of the same name. The program displayed the most important and representative worldwide avant-garde and experimental art figures of the moment altogether with other traditional and non-western forms of art. This paper presents and analysis of the media impact of the festival in Spain and abroad, based on their presence on de communication media and historiography.
