Abstract

The author, general director of the Príncipe de Viana Institution, cultural authority of the Government of Navarre, one of the seventeen autonomous communities of Spain, with its specific law arrangements and full competence regarding its historical heritage and cultural action, describes the activities in these fields at the mentioned organization, of which he was responsible from 1991 to 1995, and specifically those activities concerning the General Library, the Royal and General Archive, and the Museum of Navarre.
