Abstract

This paper traces the history of an iconic exhibition space Pamplona, the citadel, namely Joint Pavilion and oven. The exhibition space was rehabilitated by the Caja de Ahorros Municipal de Pamplona, within the social and cultural work that the institution performed. Its creation was due to the initiative of Don Miguel Javier Urmeneta, director of the entity and highlighted in the Navarre society of the time character. Its management was entrusted to Don Jose Maria Muruzábal del Val. This paper deals with the early history of these showrooms, the period between 1973, date of its opening to 1984, when Mr. ends Muruzábal management. And it should also be noted that this room failed to show the local and regional art...
