El Archivo General de la Universidad Pública de Navarra: experiencia y mejora continua para afrontar nuevos retos [The General Archive of the Public University of Navarre: experience and continuous improvement to face new challenges]

Abstract

The establishment of improvement objectives in an organization must be based on an analysis of situation and on the accumulated experience. This work begins with an overview of the General Archive of the Public University of Navarre and it presents the normative framework, the procedures in quality management, the resources, the alliances and an analysis of the archival processes. Once this contextual study is carried out, the current challenges of the Archive are identified and the objectives established within the IV Strategic Plan of the Public University of Navarre are presented, as well as the actions planned to achieve them. Finally, a series of reflections are made on the present challenges.
