La Batalla de Belate (1512): una revisión crítica [The Battle of Belate (1512): a critical review]

Abstract

This study aims to shed light on the battle of Belate (1512), taking into consideration unpublished documentation that clarifies existing, often contradictory versions, of this episode in the conquest of Navarra. We also aim to throw light upon what happened during the seven days of the passage of the army through the mountain pass in winter, an information gap that can be filled through other sources.
