Abstract

The research studies the carpentry in Navarre, taking as an example a family saga of master carpenters, who have worked in this trade from the end of the sixteenth century until the beginning of the twentieth century. The work, which began with the study of a genealogy, allows us to see the ways of working, the lifestyle of a master carpenter in the middle area of Navarre and the development of the profession through the study of a family saga.
