Desarrollo, innovación y valor en torno al patrimonio cultural de Navarra [Development, innovation and value around the cultural heritage of Navarra]

Abstract

Cultural heritage has a growing social and economic value. From the formative and cultural point of view, it is a dynamic and innovative development agent. But to preserve and spread it, we need important investments that depend on the evaluation of the needs of the monument, and not on its ownership or other circumstantial issues. The actions that are carried out on cultural heritage integrate a value chain that progressively becomes richer and more complex. To make them happen, good governance of the cultural heritage is necessary to ensure its sustainable management. The leadership of this process should belong to the regional and national governments.
