Abstract

The present article tries to analyze which were the border relations between the kingdoms of Navarre and Aragon from the end of the 15th century until the moments before the Navarre War. For this, the research has focused on two fundamental phenomena. The first of them, the commercial problems suffered by the habitants on both sides of the border, affected by the so-called «marcas» The second of these, the territorial conflicts, within which the significance of what was called the War of Sangüesa, which took place in 1509.
