La proyección exterior de Navarra en Europa y la cooperación transfronteriza de Navarra tras el Amejoramiento del Fuero de 1982 [The external projection of Navarre in Europe and the cross cooperation of Navarra after the approval of the Law of Improvement of the Regime of Navarre of 1982]

Abstract

After the approval of the Organic Law of Reintegration and Improvement of the Foral Regime of Navarre of 1982 and its 2010 reform, Navarre has acquired greater powers in terms of external action. This article presents an overview, since then to the present, of the cooperation of the Foral Community of Navarre with other non-Spanish regions, both in multilateral forums, among which the Pyrenees Working Community and the Committee of the Regions of the European Union stand out, as well as bilateral ones. In this second aspect, it is worth mentioning the cooperation with the Aquitaine Region and with the Department of Atlantic Pyrenees, both bordering the Foral Community.
