El patrimonio del Concejo de Olite en el siglo XIII

Abstract
The origin o the council’s patrimony of Olite is the grant of the Charter of Estella by king García Ramírez in 1147. Initially the resources granted were supposed to be worked individually by each of the new dwellers. However, such a great plot of resources required, from the beginning, the intervention of an institution that organized its allotment and exploitation, and an administrative policy that insured its conservation and enabled its extension. The municipal records show that in the mid 13th century, the frank Councils were developing their political and administrative institutions. The necessity of wellmanaging the public goods was a great stimulus for this institutional development and conditioned its evolution afterwards.
