Perfil prosopográfico de los jesuítas navarros del antiguo colegio de Tudela [Prosopographic profile of Jesuits born in Navarre belonging to the old College of Tudela]

Abstract

This work presents the prosopography of the Navarrese Jesuits who lived in the school of Tudela (1600-1767). For this purpose, we have a privileged documentation provided by the so-called triennial catalogues, with references to the «small homeland» or place of birth of the inhabitants of the school, or the psychosomatic profiles and the so-called complexio. Of pedagogical interest are also the years of formation and the different ministries, trades and offices carried out by the Jesuits. This study includes the biographical sketches of more than thirty Navarrese Jesuits throughout the school’s entire existential journey, highlighting the most  relevant aspects.
