The current article discusses and puts into context the topic of the festivals at the cathedral of Pamplona, in order to value its rich cultural heritage. We studied the nineteenth century Pamplona cathedral ceremonial, which compiles ancient practices and uses. The text also describes the characteristics of the ceremonial and the religious festival in Pamplona during the Old Regime, illustrating through the analysis of three celebrations from Lent and Holy Week cycle: the publication of the Holy Crusade’s Bull, the Vexilla service and the Tenebræ services on Holy Wednesday and Maundy Thursday.
