Dardarkari bakunen alofonoez testu irakurrietan [The simple vibrant allophones in reading texts]
Abstract
In this paper we analyze a variant of ttak allophones in reading texts by young people from western Basque Country. Moreover we describe allophones, and for its differentiation we analyze the acoustic features as they are the duration and the energy. For the elaboration of the corpus we have collected data from fifteen informants, all of them young and female, and we asked them to read a short text. Then we labeled and analyze with «Praat» program. We describe the ttak allophones according to two evidences: the alveolar contact and noisiness. We conclude that we differentiate five ttak allophones and both energy and duration are important acoustic features to differentiate allophones.
