Abstract

The Health Sciences Library of the Department of Health is a model of library management that provides access to both updated sources of quality and accessible information and to library services to the professionals of the Public Health System of Navarre. The creation process and the development experienced in the last decade are described, as well as its library management model, its structure, purposes, services and provided resources. The technological environment, framework of the transformation, and the relevance of collaboration and cooperation among virtual libraries of other autonomous communities are highlighted.
