La pianista-compositora Emiliana Zubeldía a través de la prensa: años de Pamplona y Madrid 1904-1922 [The pianist-composer Emiliana Zubeldia through the press: years in Pamplona and Madrid 1904-1922]
Abstract
Emiliana Zubeldia (1888-1987) was a twentieth-century pianist and composer from Navarra, best known for her compositions, concerts and lessons in Mexico, where she lived from 1938. However, before settling in America, she spent her early years between Pamplona, Madrid and Paris, where she developed as a professional musician, but there are not investigations about that period. The main objective of the present work is to reconstruct the early years of Emiliana Zubeldia by studying the press of the time, focusing on the years 1904-1922 as a decisive stage for her professional career.
