Autobiografía de Gustav Henningsen [Gustav Henningsen’s autobiography]

Abstract

We publish here the autobiography which Gustav Henningsen wrote in Danish on occasion of being awarded the cross of the Order of Dannebrog by Queen Margrethe II of Denmark. The text was presented to the chancellery to be kept in its archive. An abridged version has previously been published in the journal Huarte de San Juan. Geografía e Historia, No. 17, 2010, pp. 423-441. The text, originally written on 29 July 2002, was subsequently revised and extended by Gustav Henningsen in Skovfryd, Lyngby (Denmark) on 7 November 2005. [P. de V.].
