Transcribiendo a Gustav y Marisa [Gustav and Marisa transcribed]

Abstract

Through the direct testimony of Gustav Henningsen and Marisa Rey-Henningsen, recorded and transcribed for its use as the main source, we delve into the memories of their research years in Spain. From their field work in Galicia, to their discoveries in the National Historical Archive until their days in Pamplona, we address their daily life, working method, contacts and the environment that surrounded them. Both testimonies reveal the most personal side of the Dane’s historiographic contributions and, at the same time, illuminate the voice and work of his main collaborator, his wife.
