Las revistas religiosas influyentes en los sacerdotes antes de la II República: el caso de Navarra [The religious magazines that influenced priests before the Second Republic: the case of Navarre]

Abstract

The present article examines the results of a survey of the clergy of the diocese of Pamplona ordered in 1928 by its newly appointed bishop Tomás Muniz Pablos. Its aim is to establish a consistent list of the religious press read by the clergy, showing both its great variety of subjects and its different affiliations. It also describes and compares the five most relevant publications according to their readers.
