Abstract

The Navarre artist Ángel Bados (born in 1945) began to work in the middle of the seventies at Pamplona in a series of installations with local questions and proposals to impede the artistic commercialization, for this motive, he prefers to work in the space of the installation. Nevertheless, as we approach in the middle of the eighties, this creator will be focusing more in the sculptural piece characterized by its object art, povera and conceptual treatment. In addition to the utilization of diverse artistic languages of international character, he has been kept in a permanent debate and study of Jorge Oteiza’s Metaphysical Boxes, which have generated an evident influence in his sculptural production..
