  • Ignacio J. Urricelqui Pacho Doctor en Historia del Arte [Spain]

Abstract

This article aims to address Pablo Sarasate’s relationship with the artists of his day through testimonies still available to us. The article also looks into his role as collector or rather the wide range of personal property which he stocked up over the years, much of which is of great documentary and artistic value, and which, for the most part, was left to Pamplona City Council. Leading on from this, the article provides information and reflections on the Museo Sarasate, founded in Pamplona on the violinist’s death.
