Abstract
The period of prosperity that Pamplona lived in the eighteen century, caused the height on the decorative arts, among them silverwork, with the commission of new works on the part of the upper class of the city. One of the typologies that is going to benefit more from this situation is the tray, a piece of civil character that is going to experience a fort impulse, mainly from 1743, when the decrees of the Brotherhood of San Eloy included this piece among the works that the applicant to silversmith had to make.
