Abstract

We would like to let people know about this assembler from Navarre, totally unknown in the regional art history.  Because he carried out his artistic work under León, he went completely unnoticed in his country, which he never betrayed. While writing his will under León, in 1616, he specified (dejó una manda) that a portrait of san Francisco Xavier should be placed in the Colegio de la Compañía de Jesús, Pamplona, giving it as a present, as well as vineyard and other works of art, to his native parish of Santa María  de Los Arcos.
