Un fragmento de La Hecyra de Terencio

Abstract

A valuable fragment of a comedy by the celebrated comedy author Terencio recently found its way into the Pamplona Cathedral Library. The oldest pre-served manuscript of a Terencian comedy to be found in Spain, the manuscript was copied in the second half of the X century in Visigothic script. The fragment includes a number of notes both in the margins and between lines suggesting that it was used as a school text with which to learn Latin. The entire fragment is transcribed and its variants are analysed, some of these
