Abstract
Despite knowledge of its existence –at least since the beginning of 1900– the inventory carried out by Martín Périz de Cáseda (1328) is a first-class source from which to learn of a great many documents from the Royal Chancery of Navarre, many of which have now been lost. Of these, it is worth highlighting the so-called Treasury of Tiebas books. The aim of the present work is to group and order this material so that scholars might learn of the existence and have access to a description of these important testimonies to the accountancy of royal finances.
