Abstract

The objective of this article is to provide a qualitative look at the Opera Prima Ciudad de Tudela Film Festival, supported by the author’s personal experience, for more than two decades, as a member of the organization of this cultural event, a pioneer in the national panorama of film festivals, and an essential column of the city’s cultural programming, year after year since its birth in 1999. A review is made of the origins of the contest, its identity features, its sections, its peculiarities and its evolution throughout all its editions.
