Abstract

This work is aimed to clarify many of the questions that surround the figure of the viceroy of Navarre during the first half of the sixteenth century, and collect the ideas of some authors who have researched the colonial theme. Through the correspondence exchange between the monarch and his representative has been broad-brush outline the work of the alter ego in the newly conquered territory of Navarre.
