Abstract

Hardly twenty years after the disappearance of the sculptor Alfredo Sada (Falces, 1949-1992) it seems appropriate and necessary to recall his creative career, which, on the other hand, was abruptly severed. This fact made it to be relatively short, what did not prevent him to reach a recognition which is still in force. In his work several stages are clearly perceived, implying a turning point in the incorporation of lead. This metal served to cover some sculptures whose subject matter evoked distant times which turned out to be key in the development of a subtle plastic reinterpretation of the postmodern era.
