Abstract

The Documentary Heritage Management Division was commissioned to set up the Archival System of the Autonomous Community of Navarre, with the Administration Archives and the Commission on Archival Evaluation being essential elements. These governing bodies have permitted the establishment and development of the methodological principles, techniques, instruments and tools necessary for the development of policies and rules for the management of records throughout their entire life cycle. This article analyses each and every archival process and considers the challenges resulting form the introduction of the single Digital Archive and the principle of interoperability in electronic records.
