Abstract

Miguel Gortari Beiner (1920-1977) has been one of the most prolific architects in the panorama of Navarrese Architecture in the third fourth of 20th Century. Graduate in 1949 by High School of Architecture of Madrid, the figure of Modesto López Otero guided him to a concept of architecture where the bet for the modern, the functionalism, and the urbanism and the importance given to the values of collective planning, become fundamental premises in his work. He is the author of projects of varied nature; among them we can underline San Francisco Javier Parish, Tres Reyes Hotel, and several blocks of flats in Pamplona.
